The St Andrews Ladies’ Putting Club was founded in 1867 and is home to the infamous ‘Himalayas’ putting green. Situated right beside the Old Course, this unique facility is open between April to September each year and is a must for any visitor to the Home of Golf.
The Kingdom of Fife provides a stunning location for cycling and a number of routes have been established both within St Andrews and in the local countryside. Bikes can be hired from the local bike shop Spokes located on South Street.

The Scottish Clay Shooting Centre is located 10 minutes outside St Andrews and is one of the leading clay grounds in the country and can cater for everyone from complete beginners to large corporate days.
The Byre Theatre in St Andrews is run by the University and serves as a focal point for the Arts in North East Fife. Offering a year round programme of events, shows, conferences and music, the Byre also provides a relaxed meeting place with a full restaurant, bars and a coffee shop.
